Another gem of the sartorial archive is the collection of haute couture that Gabriella Lo Faro has patiently acquired: around 200 pieces from some of Europe’s greatest couturiers from the 1940s to the 1970s, including Shuberth, Cappucci, Valentino, Carosa, Veneziani, Antonelli, and others.

These cloth masterpieces are the fruit of a fine tailor’s labor and knowledge, and they never tire of traveling the world from one show to another: from the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, to the Palazzo Pitti in Florence; from the Daimaru museum in Osaka to the Guggenheim in New York; from Paris’s Louvr e to Naples’ Fondazione Mondragone.
